The one and only Ian (Ben) Sherman is the founder of Ben's Centre. Back in 1996, he was a PC operating out of the ‘Tardis’ next to the Town Hall. Ben saw the difficulties faced by the street drinkers in Sheffield, especially in the Peace Gardens. So, with great effort, and no small amount of blood, sweat, and tears he set up the first Ben's Centre - the picture below shows him on the doorstep. 16 years later and Ben is still contributing to our survival and success even now, as a member of the Ben’s Centre Board of trustees. As was pointed out at our 15th anniversary celebrations last year, we all owe more to Ben than we can say- so once again thanks!

It is Ben’s birthday on the 15th March and we would like to wish him a VERY HAPPY 60TH BIRTHDAY from all of us, clients and staff alike at Ben's Centre.

Many Happy Returns and many, many thanks!
