THE PLANT A SEED EDUCATION PROJECT
Previously, at our site on Orange Street, space allowed us to offer a range of activities, clubs and groups to our clients. These were often led by clients own interests. Now we have a larger premises, the intention is to revive this programme and provide a full schedule of activities for our clients to keep them busy, engaged and off the streets.
History Group
Every Tuesday at 2pm the Ben’s Centre History Group meet. The group is overseen by Sue, but led by clients interests and wishes and meetings have included local history, architecture and ghost tours!
Partnerships have been formed with the 999 Museum in Kelham Island and Mr P Dreadful (famous Sheffield ghost tour guide), to provide interesting and engaging activities and trips.

Physical movement group
We were very lucky to receive a grant from Move More to establish a physical activity group for our clients. The physical activity group will run activities during drop-in hours, with a session happening at 1.30-2.30pm. The group will be suitable for all activity levels and sessions will vary week on week. Activities so far have included gardening and walks to Sheffield areas.
